What is the Foundation Certificate in Coaching?

Wondering if coaching is for you? This is the small, gentle way to find out.

Your lessons open the moment you join. Then you come to a live 90-minute session on Zoom and coach for real, with a trainer guiding you. And you have a coaching session of your own, so you know exactly what great coaching feels like from the inside.

No experience needed. It is built for complete beginners, and it is created and taught by Andy Ramage MSc, who teaches every day of our Diploma.

What you get

  • A live 90-minute session on Zoom, where you coach for real with a trainer guiding you
  • A 1:1 coaching session of your own, with one of our CBS-trained coaches
  • A digital certificate of completion
  • Your £97 credited in full against a Diploma, if you go on

When is the live session?

There is one every month, hosted by Andy Ramage or Louise Ramage, the two trainers who teach every day of the Diploma. You are booked onto the next one as soon as you join, and the Zoom details come straight away. If that date does not suit you, tell us and we will move you to the one after. There is always another one coming.

To be clear, this is a taster, not a qualification.

The Foundation lets you try coaching properly before you commit. It does not qualify you to work as a coach, and it is not accredited. The qualification is our six-month Diploma, which is accredited by the ICF, AC and EMCC, and every penny of your £97 is credited against it.

And if you decide coaching is not for you, you will have found that out for £97 rather than thousands. That is a real win too.
